I have been into the paranormal since I was a kid. I have enjoyed all kinds of topics such as the Loch Ness Monster and UFOs. However one of my favorites of all time has got to be the big guy “bigfoot”. Bigfoot is always been one of those hot topics which people completely do not believe in or are completely devoted to finding it. Not only is the topic hot blooded but so are the different character types within the Sasquatch community. The community has it all, from true believers to the individual's who are in it to make a fast buck. There are even a number of infamous individuals who are complete hoaxers and proud of it. The topic of Bigfoot is hot at the moment and everyone seems to have his or her thoughts on the subject. This blog is my take on recent Bigfoot sightings reports and alleged evidence found. Whether Bigfoot/Sasquatch is real or not really doesn’t make a difference, it’s still quite a story to ponder. From the indigenous Indians to modern times Bigfoot is the shining star of the Cryptozoology world. Is bigfoot real, you decide!

Yellowstone National Park Bigfoot Sightings

It seems like the past few months there’s been one high-profile Bigfoot sighting after another. Either Bigfoot has really been busy the past few months or more than likely the hoaxers have been. As you can imagine, this has caused an overwhelming amount of interest in the creature. What do you hear? Seeing “Bigfoot” on late night cable television commercials or radio talk shows. Having small children see him on their TV screens while watching Animal Planet. The latest high profile Bigfoot sightings has apparently occurred in Yellowstone National Park. It appears like four Bigfoot type creatures have been recorded on camera seemingly stalking bison nearby the Old Faithful geyser at Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.

The footage has been uploaded to YouTube Dec. 29 and is apparently from the streaming Webcam of the United States National Park Service. Once again there is great debate and controversy between Bigfoot believers and skeptics alike. Speaking of skeptics some have suggested that the four individuals in the video are either cross-country skiers, hoaxers in Bigfoot suits or Yellowstone Park employees. Others are convinced it is some type of CGI/computer graphics manipulation. Besides the skeptics others are completely convinced it is a group of Bigfoot’s hunting for food.

What would you think if you saw this footage? Is it just another Bigfoot hoax or are you convinced it’s the absolute real deal? Regardless of what your opinion is regarding this footage, there have been dozens of high-profile Bigfoot sightings in recent years that have gone viral. Why? If you ask me, I’d say it’s just good marketing. Who would ever have ever thought that bigfoot would be on late night television or seen by millions on YouTube. It’s all in good fun when you think about it.

Bigfoot is supposedly the stuff of legends and folklore. So why not make a little money off of it? The creature is described as a ape-like creature that is about 8 feet tall with a gray to dark tan colored body,  and the ability to walk upright. It is often said to have a rather unpleasant odor. The alleged creature is also said to leave behind huge footprints on the ground and is often found in the woods, mountains and even deep forest areas.

The Bigfoot phenomena stretches all over the United States and beyond. Canada has had its share of Bigfoot sightings and in recent years hundreds of Bigfoot believers have formed groups in hopes of getting results when no one else has been any closer than a few miles from seeing anything.

My personal opinion quite honestly besides looking completely dark they do not appear to be Bigfoot’s to me at all, they don’t walk as Bigfoot is supposed to walk. Also they seem considerably skinny compared to the physical size reports of people who have allegedly encountered Bigfoot in the woods. I would have to say this is a case of misidentification or a straight out hoax by four guys in monkey suits. I am pretty sure this will get people talking about Bigfoot one way or the other so it’s good marketing.
